How it began

When we became parents, we wanted to keep everything. The first smile. The first steps. Every little laugh, and the funny things our child said at dinner. We photographed it all, a little at a time, and saved it on our phones.

Then one day, a technical fault wiped it all away. Every photo, every video, every moment we had kept was gone. Even the first time we held our child in our arms. There was no getting any of it back.

We learned something that day. A memory that lives only on a screen is one you’re borrowing. The ones that last are the ones you can hold.

So, we started Bearly Yours, to turn real children, real families, and everyday moments into books that don’t disappear.

Meet Bo

Bo is our bear, and he keeps the stories.

Almost everyone has had a bear sometime in their childhood. One that was hugged too hard, carried everywhere, and told every secret. Bo is that feeling: warm, soft, and a little nostalgic. He takes you back to being small, when a hug fixed most things.

He isn’t the hero. That’s your child’s job. Bo is the one who notices the small things adults forget to notice: a leaf picked up on the way home, a drawing left on the table, a voice note saved for later. He carries them in his satchel, and he never lets anything go missing.

Sometimes he tags along on an adventure. He’s always paying attention.

The world of stories

In our storybooks, your child steps into the story. We write the adventure, then draw your child into it: their face, their features, their name on every page. The first page is left blank for your own words, so the book carries a message from you too.

In our photobooks, the story is already yours. Choose a theme, send us the photos that matter, and we turn them into a book your family can flip through, share, and return to for years. Moments that were sitting in a camera roll get a place on the shelf.

One starts with our story and makes it theirs. The other starts with your story and makes it a book. Both end the same way, with something to hold.

How our books are made

Our stories are written by us, the parents behind Bearly Yours, and reviewed by a child psychologist, so every story is made with young readers in mind. The illustrations are created with the help of AI tools, guided by our own art direction, and checked by our team before every book is printed.

Your child’s photo is used only to make your book. We keep photographs for 30 days at most, then delete them.

We’d rather tell you how it’s done than leave you to wonder.

What we believe

A story means more when it’s about you. The small moments deserve to be kept, and a book on a shelf will outlast a photo in a phone. We’d rather be a place people come to for a feeling than a shop window. Every book we make is meant to be opened, read again, and kept.
